Menu 1 (left): Selects the languages displayed in the left column.
Menu 2 (left): Selects the languages displayed in the right column.
Selecting Chinese, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish from the menu on the left plays professional audios.
For the remaining language combinations, the platform uses your browser's built-in text-to-speech synthesis, with best performance when using Microsoft Edge on a computer.
Snippets are short snippets of audio, typically a phrase or part of a phrase.
When snippets are available, all the buttons on the right side become active. Use the + and - buttons in the right pane to navigate through snippets and repeat phrases until you understand them without reading the text.
Top:
Chapter: Opens a new chapter for language learning.
Snippet Counter: Displays information about the current snippet (a short segment of the chapter of the audio file) that is played in a loop.
Moon/Sun: Toggles between night mode and day mode for the interface.
Right:
H: Home
S: Toggle font size
F: Toggle font family
▶⏸: Play/Pause audio
Cont.: Toggle continuous/loop mode
Mode Indicator: Shows current play mode. Green: continuous play; red: loop play.
+: Next snippet
-: Previous snippet
1.0x: Toggle playback speed. Short click cycles speed (1.0, 0.75, 0.5), long click opens speed slider.
P0: Toggle through the pause length after snippets (1, 2, 3, 4 seconds).
-3s: Rewind 3 seconds
+3s: Forward 3 seconds
